It would really help!

2 separate virtual interviews for the same job, meant to be 30 minutes each, both lasted nearly an hour.
The interviewers just talked at me.

One of them asked me some questions, seemed somewhat interspersed in my replies, no follow up questions though.
The other asked me maybe 2 questions but didn’t allow me to answer.

I don’t think I’ve got the job but is this what happens in interviews nowadays? Just for future reference if I get the chance to interview for any other jobs.

I’ve found often companies are desperate to sell themselves in an interview and sounds like this happened to you. It doesn’t sound as though they listened much.
You may well get the job.

I work in careers. This interview experience is very odd. I’d stay away from them

Hmm it didn’t go well.
It felt like they were selling me the company and the role.

I'd recommend buying Plaud, recording the interview and running it through chatgpt. It gives you a really good interview analysis and likelihood of offer. It was very accurate when DH was job hunting and very useful for keeping a record of what was asked and your responses especially if you're like me and can never remember anything afterwards!

I’ve been interviewing today, buy that wasn’t me! They sound like dreadful interviewers to be honest. Good luck in your job search.

Surely this is illegal (recording without permission)?

I think that it was entitled “interview “ but was actually a meet & greet with various people there.

Ibiza how did your interviews go today? Do you think you have the person for the role?

@Bookaholic73 it probably is but who's going to know? It certainly helped DH with improving at interviews.
