Can anyone advise on Chorleywood and Rickmansworth primary schools?

I’m due to complete on a house very close to the Chorleywood / Rickmansworth border, so several schools from both areas are in the running for us. I’m trying to understand which are genuinely strong all‑round — both academically, and in supporting children to thrive (socially, emotionally, in terms of enrichment, behaviour etc.).
In particular, I’ve been looking at Chorleywood Primary School. It seems less popular than the other two primary schools in Chorleywood, yet it has recently been judged Outstanding by Ofsted. I’d love to get a sense from people local or with experience: is it still considered a top‑choice locally? What are its strengths and weaknesses compared to others nearby?
Here are a few schools I’m looking at (if you know others I should consider, please do say):

Chorleywood Primary School
Christ Church Chorleywood C of E
The Russell School, Chorleywood
Any good primary schools in Rickmansworth that are well‑rounded
What I’m most interested in:

  1. How well pupils do academically (not just in SATs but progress, challenge etc.)
  2. How schools support the whole child – pastoral care, sense of community, extra‑curricular, wellbeing, behaviour etc.
  3. Whether reputation still matches the inspection reports / data – are there changes people have noticed in recent years?
Thank you so much for any insight / personal experiences. It’ll really help with making this decision!

Anyone from the local area with a perspective on this? I’d be very grateful.
