Help me calorie count this pasta

I have a packet of La Famiglia Rana pasta. The uncooked weight is 250g. I am cutting back and calorie counting at the moment but I am not sure how to account for it. My tracking app says a packet at 250g is just about 520 calories but if I use the data photographed it seems more cooked. I get it retains water but would you say 250g packet is the 520 or 622?

I have been weighing and tracking the uncooked weight but I fear I should weigh when cooked?

You weigh it as the cooked weight.

Thank you.

I go by the 1/2 pack as measure, so 1/2 pack is 125g uncooked -> 311 kcal, whole pack is 622

You always go by the raw weight of pasta

The packet however is giving you calculations for the cooked weight, which is annoying as its not accurate, it cant be, but its as good as it can be. It assumes that when cooked, it weighs 300g for the whole package

I would dispute this, pasta normally swells to 3x its size, althoughI dont know about fresh pasta

It gives the content per 100g cooked too, so you could weigh out your portions to be sure.

Thanks. I will have my pasta going forward but weigh the cooked portion instead of uncooked.
