Midweek birthday

If you had a mid week birthday coming up, and it's a big one, kids in school and both you and DH have the day off work, what would you do with your day?

Just looking for inspiration. Will be going out for dinner with the kids after school so going out for a meal at lunchtime probably isn't sensible and one of us needs to be back for the school run at 4 so can't go too far.

I personally wouldn’t - but you’re not me! Don’t doesn’t matter what anyone else would do, what do you WANT to do? What do you enjoy doing that you never get time to do, or isn’t appropriate with kids in tow?

Have breakfast out, maybe a wander round the shops, garden centre or National Trust type place if you like that, afternoon coffee and cake. Then you’ll be hungry enough for dinner later on.

Drop kids, then off for a really nice indulgent breakfast and then a long walk in the country.

Then coffee and cake.

Then pop to town to buy me some treats 😊 (perfume)

and then pick up children
