Travel insurance when waiting on hospital referral

Looking to book a long weekend abroad next year so I've started looking at travel insurance, however I've recently been referred for a non-urgent gynae outpatient appointment, so it looks like I can't get any insurance?! I will try phoning some companies tomorrow but does anyone have any recommendations or am I on a hiding to nothing because I'm waiting for a diagnosis?

I went with All-clear Travel Insurance. They accepted my pre-existing and under investigation conditions. I took out a joint policy with my husband (47 and 58) and it came to around £140.

Staysure came highly recommended too but they came back to me several times wanting more information about what I was being investigated for (gastro) and in the end I went with All-clear.

Thank you so much! I'll try ringing both tomorrow

Potentially in similar position, was that annual or single trip?

I have newly diagnosed gallstones and went with staysure. Nobody else would cover me for them.

COOP you need to call them can’t do it online

Aviva covered me with a pre-existing condition and while on NHS waiting list for surgery while most others wouldn't

That’s for annual cover.

I have used Staysure a few times following a cancer diagnosis and treatment within the might likely to get it back time scale absolutely brilliant

Just to update- I've bought a premium with All Clear. For my situation it was £44 for an annual policy which I thought was pretty reasonable! Also the call handler was really helpful.
