I work at my dc school very part time alongside some volunteering there. My dc is in yr6. I love working and volunteering at the school however as it's my child's last year there I know it will be sad for both of us when they leave. Obviously moving on is a part of life and will be a mixture of sadness and excitement for the next stage.
My question is though, will it be weird if I stayed on working/volunteering there after my dc leaves? Or should I be also starting afresh and moving on? The school has obviously been a big part of my life aswell as my dcs.
I know only I can make the decision but just interested in others perspectives.
