Dental glue

I have a bridge that’s come loose and regularly comes out.

It’s in my smile line so I desperately need to get it done. I’ve bought the 2 different brands of dental adhesives available in Boots (not cheap) but these are absolutely useless.

I’ve resorted to buying fixodent (for false teeth) as at least it glues my tooth in long enough for a conversation.

My dentist is horrible - I feel very uncomfortable with going there. Besides, they can’t see me until mid December.

Has anyone got any advice or more permanent glueing suggestions?!

Is it a Maryland bridge? Metal wing stuck to one tooth?
They only stick with proper preparation of the metal and dentist glue.
If it’s coming off despite this it is probably due to it not being the right option, they don’t always work. You might need to consider other options like a denture or an implant.

Is changing dental practices an option for you? A bridge that's visible shouldn't need to wait until December, is it an NHS practice or private?

I do not recommend doing your own dentistry… however this is probably one of my favourite WILTY stories.
