Vegetarian "Pork" Pie

Reading a thread on grazing boards on the Christmas section of MN, and wondered if there was such a thing as a vegetarian pork pie? I have never seen one, but veggie sausage rolls seem to be quite common. Or any other suggestions for veggie options for a grazing board, other than cheese, olives, pickles etc.

Tbh that sounds disgusting.
i think Lidl do a chestnut mushroom wellington which is really nice, or make little individual goats cheese tarts, cheese and chive muffins, stuffed vine leaves (the tinned ones are good) or falafel

Holland & Barrett used to do a “porkless pie” but I haven’t had one for about 20 years, no idea if they still sell them.

If you want vegetarian why not quiche, goats cheese tarts etc?

I was just going to say this, they were delicious, but they're no longer available. I've never seen them anywhere else.

I make sausage rolls with a cheese and nut filling similar to my nut roast recipe. There are usually loads of different veggie options in the shops from Onion bhaji's to mini pizzas, you could buy them or use them for inspiration to make something.

I think it was Higgidy that did a no pork pie. It was filled with lentils and vegetables. The pastry was a bit like pork pie pastry.
Was delicious but haven’t seen them for ages.

With brown sauce or Branson pickle 😍
For me it's more about the pastry than the actual filling.

I used to quite like the higgidy ones, but if looks like they stopped making them.
