I’m thinking about trying a digital detox for a few months. My plan is to:
- Use a basic non smartphone for calls and texts only.
- Use my laptop in a restricted way with Cold Turkey Blocker, so it can only access essentials like email, banking, and bills.
- Avoid all social media, forums, and online shopping.
I know it sounds strict, but I think this could really help my mental health and finances. I’m still figuring out if it’s practical and sustainable.
Has anyone else done something similar? Any tips, encouragement, or experiences would be really appreciated, it would help me feel like I can actually do this.
