Instagram, twitter & Tiktok

Am I weird for not being a part of the whole twitter, insta/tiktok thing?
I have a Facebook account that I don’t even remember the password to.

I honestly just read books, like real books, not audio or kindle.
Am I missing out?

From what friends have told me it’s just a lot of making you feel shit about the way you look because there’s body beautiful people all over…and those with seemingly perfect lives. Do I need that in my face when I already clinically depressed?

🤷🏻‍♀️

I used to follow Twitter before it became X because it was a useful way to keep abreast of the news. I don't use X .

And I'm totally disinterested in Instagram. And I despise Tiktok. So I don't use either of them.

I have a Facebook account purely so I can access the local news pages and I don't bother with them often.

So I don't think you are weird at all OP. In fact I think preferring books is a really positive , pleasurable and worthwhile thing.

Not on tik tok but Ive spent a very happy couple of hours today watching insta reels of cats saving children from bears and even a crocodile. There’s more than you’d think. Think they’re Canadian.
I do have Covid so I can’t go out and I’ve run out of books (a concept I didn’t think existed but heyho). I also refuse to kindle.
So that’s either an advert for or against depending on whether you want to waste hours of your time.
You’re not missing anything on X. It makes AIBU on here look like a teddy bears picnic
