High temperature 39+3

Sorry ladies I have a high temperature at 39+3 and can’t think straight. Suspect it is a bug from dc1 who has a runny nose. But I can’t think straight or move. Horrible headache and the shakes. Really suspect it is from dc1 but should I be speaking to my midwife (this would mean going to triage) or ride it out? Worried as so near the end now ☹️

I had covid recently and was the same, it was miserable 😪 the midwife advised regular paracetamol to keep the temperature under control and to keep a close eye on baby's movements. I ended up going in for a CTG as the baby wasn't moving as much, but all was fine and the worst passed in a couple of days 🙏🏻

Does it come down with paracetamol? If so and movements are ok I'd ride it out. If not (and it's around 39C) or there are movement issues I'd go in.

Thanks both! Manage to get through to triage on the phone (unusual) for
peace of mind and they said
paracetmol and rest unless any changes to baby movement. Feel more relaxed knowing they were relaxed
