Advice please - child put hands around DS neck

My DS is 5, he told me today that yesterday a girl in his class put her hands around his throat on dinner time, he said he tried to tell the teacher but she kept blocking him and got in his way .

I'm fuming , he said she also done it to another child . I know another parent has had problems with this girl as well.

I'm going to speak to the school first thing Monday morning but what do I do / say ? I'd also appreciate any advice to give to my DS ive obviously told him to tell her to stop it and tell the teacher. But this is physical harm and awful .

I do know the Mum (not well) if my child had done that I would appreciate being told and would be mortified . But not sure she would .

Yes speak to the school

But then Let the school handle it. don’t expect to ever find out what happens with the other child. That is confidential. You can monitor what happens with your own child and speak to the school again if it happens again. You also might be able to get some idea if the other child is moved to sit nearer to the teacher.
