Yes was really sad to hear this news 😔

ADCisntme · 11/10/2025 23:31

79 feels so young in this day and age.

RIP to the brilliant Ms Keaton.

Waitaminutewheresmejumper · 11/10/2025 23:42

I'm also v sad about this, but I don't really think you can claim she was ,"gone too soon"! She was old, it happens and she's had quite the life.

Cupcakegirl13 · 11/10/2025 23:45

Very sad , really enjoyed both Book Club movies . But my all time favourite are the Father of the Bride movies.

theparticley · 11/10/2025 23:45

Far too soon. She had such vivacity. So many wonderful movies. RIP Diane.

CarpetKnees · 12/10/2025 00:41

Always sad when someone you admire dies, but not sure ow you can claim 79 is 'far too young' or that she went 'far too soon'.

TheChristieAffair · 12/10/2025 00:45

Baby Boom is my favourite. Sad news

EconomyClassRockstar · 12/10/2025 00:45

I mean, the average death rate for a woman is around 80 yo in the US but I get what the OP means. DK seemed like the kind of icon who was going to seamlessly live to 100 so 79, in this case, does seem too soon.

EconomyClassRockstar · 12/10/2025 00:47

Average death age not rate!

MooFroo · 12/10/2025 01:26

Loved her in first wives club, rip DK x

cosyblankethome · 12/10/2025 16:17

Such sad news. I am having a lazy day today and I have decided to watch Baby Boom.

MercyChant66 · 12/10/2025 16:35

I just watched Baby Boom (for the umpteenth time) with my teen a couple of days ago - thought she'd go on forever. Love her and her very particular style ❤️

Problemhooves · 12/10/2025 16:38

She somehow does seem "too young", but i suppose I haven't seen her in anything for years. I just remember her being lively and middle aged.

Anyway, sad news regardless

Mollydoggerson · 12/10/2025 16:40

Sad for those who knew her and loved her.

ParmaVioletTea · 12/10/2025 16:42

Oh nooooooooooooo

tobee · 12/10/2025 16:44

Why do people always come on and debate whether it's too soon? Pointless derail.

I was very sad to hear about Diane Keaton last night. A woman to aspire to.

ADCisntme · 12/10/2025 19:00

How come people come on these threads and are total arses to those people who are sharing tributes to one of their favourite actors who have given them pleasure through the movies they have made?
