I'm also v sad about this, but I don't really think you can claim she was ,"gone too soon"! She was old, it happens and she's had quite the life.

Very sad , really enjoyed both Book Club movies . But my all time favourite are the Father of the Bride movies.

Always sad when someone you admire dies, but not sure ow you can claim 79 is 'far too young' or that she went 'far too soon'.

I mean, the average death rate for a woman is around 80 yo in the US but I get what the OP means. DK seemed like the kind of icon who was going to seamlessly live to 100 so 79, in this case, does seem too soon.

Such sad news. I am having a lazy day today and I have decided to watch Baby Boom.

I just watched Baby Boom (for the umpteenth time) with my teen a couple of days ago - thought she'd go on forever. Love her and her very particular style ❤️

She somehow does seem "too young", but i suppose I haven't seen her in anything for years. I just remember her being lively and middle aged.

I was very sad to hear about Diane Keaton last night. A woman to aspire to.
