How to get rid of the smell of Weed!

Been out for the day enjoying some lovely autumn sunshine leaving a few windows ajar and now I've once again come home to a house that stinks of weed.

I have absolutely no idea which of my neighbours is the culprit otherwise I'd try and have a chat but the smell is incredibly intense.

We've put up with it all summer and I thought now it was getting cooler it would be as prevalent, evidently I was wrong. Does anyone have any fail safe odour eliminating methods, please or just a sympathetic ear to tell me we're not the only ones plagued by the smell.

The air purifier is a good shout. Some dehumidifiers are one as well. If not Ikea do some that aren’t massive and the table is quite practical www.ikea.com/gb/en/cat/air-purifiers-49081/

It's a really strong smell which we get the occasional whiff of. There someone who smokes it the street opposite the street behind ours and I can smell it. Unless my neighbours in their 80's are sneeking to the bottom on their garden at 11pm for a joint. Unfortunately they are also generally just very anti socail in general. I couldn't bear to live next to them.

I invested in the largest one of these air purifiers from Sharp. www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CRHV7Q3J I already have a dehumidifier with a HEPA filter, but this one runs silently until it detects particles in the air. A sniff of next door's smoke and it whirrs to life, and keeps trapping particles until the air quality is back to 100%.
Extra points for having a filter that only needs changing every five years, because ordering and changing the filter in the dehumidifier is expensive and has to be done once or twice a year.

Report it

Waste of time.

Police not interested. Council not interested. Social services not interested.

Could a neighbour be growing it in the loft? Just a thought.

This actually happened last year. Police were asking people if they'd noticed a smell of dope recently. (As ds occasionally smokes I was going to kill him) Went out to work the next week to see Police van with officers in Andy pandy suits(another 60s tv reference) clearing out a house a few doors down. Whole house was a farm. The raw smell was even more pungent and horrible.
