Has anyone read the ridiculous instructions for Clairol hair dye recently?

Sat here colouring my hair and wondering which idiot writing the instructions thought they need to suggest you watch your favourite tv programme or listen to music whilst the colour is developing.

That’s without the “ding ding” comment added to what to do when the 25 minutes is up.

Another company that has to spell it out!
I think Clairol does this because quite simply, everybody these days wants everything to be done quickly, right away, can't wait.
The company has likely had complaints that the product didn't work and the company realised that customers aren't leaving the product on long enough, so they had to put out clear guidelines; e.g. watch a 30 minute TV programme, to give customers a real time-frame in which to leave the product on.
They're trying to sell to everybody out there and some people don't even know how long 20-45 minutes is, sad but true.
