Most comfortable school shoes

10yo DD and I walk home - it’s about a mile and recently she’s been limping.

She is wearing Clarks fitted shoes but they are a girly style and don’t look very robust.

Can anyone recommend a comfortable pair of shoes or boots to get her through winter?

PS She has been checked at hospital and nothing obvious wrong with her legs. They ran all the tests.

DD has had Angry Angels shoes for years. Walked a lot and had no issues at all. We go to an independent shoe shop that stocks them and, perhaps more crucially, takes time to measure and fit shoes properly.

What size is she? Suggest some lace up shoes from the boys range that are more supportive.

Maybe something like Kickers if they did with uniform?

Also Yes to Start-rite/ Angry Angels. I have boys but Start Rite saw them both through school.

My daughter (now year 13) has had Docs since year 4. Comfortable and durable.

Also agree with Start Rite Angry Angels. Although they took a bit of breaking in.

Does she need arch supports?

I will look into all of these brands, thank you! How would I find out if she needs arch support?
