Pampering Mum

My mum is having a difficult medical procedure next week and she's terrified. I want to put together a pampering package for her. She'll be very sore and bed-bound for a few days at least. She is very fearful of pain, so I want to try and alleviate her fears and help her to rest and relax.

Please give me ideas for what to buy! What would make you feel indulged and pampered if you were unwell/ scared/ in pain?

I was thinking - candles, a cooling gel eye mask...

My mum is such a wonderful woman, she deserves to be spoiled.

Thank you in advance.

Are you able to say what the operation will affect? If she's able to eat, some nice truffles or fudge. If she's going to be in one position then a supportive knee pillow. A bed tray to prop her stuff up on. Pillow spray?

How about one of those lovely sponges which are impregnated with body wash?
I've got a coconut one and it's heavenly. It's lasted for a week's worth of showers so far.

Really nice soft socks. Ear buds to listen to an audiobook or podcasts…

@Wherethewildthings It's a dental one, so delicious things are out, sadly! Pillow spray is a fantastic idea! Could help her get some sleep. Thank you.
