How's your Friday going?

Clock watching till 1pm when I finish work.
Collect the groceries on the way home and then I don't plan to move off my sofa until at least Saturday night.
You're all jealous right 😄

Tell me what you're up to, what your plans are please (I'm sure I'm coming down with this cold/whatever-the-heck-it-is virus that's making the rounds, my ears are getting blocked which is always how these things start with me).

Rubbish. Trying to do some work while also looking after my sick 3yo after sharing a bed with him and not really sleeping.
House is a bombsite, neither of us are properly dressed and tv has been on for hours. And I had a filling yesterday so the side of my face is sore.

Am counting down the hours until DH gets home so I can shower.

Plans are to eat something soft on my teeth, veg on sofa possibly cross stitching and go to bed at 9.

After a really stressful week, I have today to relax - so I've done the shopping and have a bit of housework to do, but then I am going to sit by the fire with my dogs, read an easy to dip into/out of book ("A Serial Killer's Guide To Marriage" by Asia Mackay - not my usual type of read but really enjoying it - although DH looked a bot concerned when he saw it on the table next to the sofa) and watch this cold, grey afternoon go by.

When DH gets home tonight (he's also had a stressful week with different stuff to me), we're going to order his favourite takeaway and then later tonight snuggle up with a bottle of Malbec and a horror movie on Prime.

Might also watch a couple of Adam Mark Explores videos on Youtube (he does a mixture of Urbex and Ghosthunting and some of the architecture in the places he visits is amazing - last one I saw, he was in an enormous Italian mansion with its own chapel that had been abandoned for over 70 years and still had its furniture and curtains etc - very eerie)

Great thanks, when I get home after work I'll be starting week 4 of C25K and I'm feeling pretty motivated!

Going kind of meh so far with not too much good anticipation for the rest of the day,/ evening.

DS1 came down with congestion, lethargy, sore throat, I've been popping zinc tabs to ward off getting it, so far it's working.

Likely and easy peasy tea, it's dark so early, sofa, cozy throw, Netflix and a soothing baco noir, 🍷yay Friday.

Spent two hours at the supermarket using those scan machine things, thought it would be faster but the bloody thing refused to scan half of it & they wouldnt just let go through a normal check out. 🙄
Pick up dc soon and just chill for the rest of the evening with pizzas & a film. Dc14 wants to watch Nightmare on elm street… 🙈

Auntie in one hospital with spinal cancer and now Covid, friend in another with a heart attack. Just got back from visiting friend and Dad texted to say that he has Covid from visiting auntie last week before we knew she had it, so I need to call him in five minutes to check in on him.

I am going to have wine for lunch, just wine nothing else, wine. WINE.

Currently in hospital waiting for treatment for an ectopic pregnancy 🙃

I was at darts last night, I only just joined the team a few months ago and we’re only 5 games into the season and I won my singles game last night (I’ve mostly played doubles but the one other singles I was in I lost) so had a good few drinks afterwards which I was regretting this morning when I had to get my 17yo up for college at 7am. 🙈

Thankfully I had another nap after that and DH and I have had a nice lazy day at home together just watching some TV.

We’re now waiting on both DC getting home then we’re going to go out for something to eat since DH is off work today then I’m off to theatre tonight as I’m chaperoning kids backstage this week.

I've just finished work and am on my way for the school run, then shopping, then home and will have some cleaning to do, laundry, then watching The Handmaid's Tale tonight with a martini probably.

Good thanks. Cat is on the mend after a trip to the vet for an infected bite. He’s much brighter which makes me happy. My son is wfh today. Me and DH have just caught up with last night’s Celeb Traitors which we love. First little grandson is visiting in the morning. He smells all warm and woolly so I’m looking forward to that x

I have a day off today as I’m taking some time owing from work. It’s not often I get a day off with no one else home, so predictably I’m cleaning. Have so far deep cleaned downstairs, sorted some washing and put a curry in the slow cooker for dinner. I’m having 5 minutes sitting down before tackling the bathroom and hoovering upstairs and then I’m going to have a long overdue sort out of my wardrobe. We’re off to visit ds at uni tomorrow, he only started two weeks ago but it’s his first year and I’m really missing him so can’t wait

At work until 8pm long days. Then not much planned tomorrow. Sunday off to visit my lad at Uni in Bristol plan to give him a big hug and meet his new Girlfriend.

I am currently having lunch ( no dinner planned so it’s late). Dh is doing the school run so I can meet a friend in an hour and then we are attending a talk at our local bookshop. Then home to cook hidden vegetable pasta for the DCs. Hoping to persuade DCs to come with me tomorrow to the donkey sanctuary as I feel a need to pat a donkey,

Been to work this morning til just before 1pm
Finished my lunch duty slightly early thanks to lovely business manager finishing off for me & sending me off to pick up my bags and feed the dickheads cats 😊.

Currently sat on the train to Kings Cross to spend the weekend with dd at her uni accommodation. I think I was looking forward to the 1h 40m alone as much as the rest 🤣.

2 gigs, shopping, tea out somewhere, few bars (not all at once!) planned for the weekend. V tired after a gig with dd2 last night, but looking forward to it.

It’s my day off! Did the grocery shop. Did a bit of laundry. Got my hair done. Bought some wine. Watching a film. Take away later and telly and wine. I love my day off!!

Finished my first week in my new job, started at 6 this morning so I am very tired now but going to make dinner in a moment and then play some Mario Party with DS. Once he's in bed I shall watch X Files with DD and drink some wine and relax.

Today is a good day, I visited my DM in her nursing home and a new tumble dryer I ordered has been delivered so I am on
a washing and drying frenzy.

Off the back of a neighbourhood mums group chat with everyone saying they’re lonely and don’t have a ‘village’, I tried to arrange a meet up at the park but no one bloody came! The 2 who said they would bailed 10 mins before. I took DD and we had a nice time together and no one else turned up. What a loser I felt!

Then straight to a doc appt and she was flummoxed and I have to have some blood tests about clotting disorders.

Got a scary work thing tonight that I have been trying to remain calm about! Have to leave soon and while trying to remain calm and channel professional, am also feeling the mum guilt leaving the kids! Out for work tomorrow day and night too.

Not the best day 😄 although DD has been a sweetheart.

Lovely , I had a meeting , then went for a long leisurely lunch , now on a train to meet some friends for Friday night frolicks :)
