Blocking a Phone Number

If you block someone's phone number do they know you've done it?

If they send a text will they know their number's been blocked?

If a blocked number sends you a text, it won't be delivered. Depending on their phone settings, they'll get a notification to say undelivered, but it won't say they're blocked.

It’s more noticeable on WhatsApp, messages sent to a blocked number will stay one grey tick and you can’t see the person’s status or last seen. It might be ages before they realise they’ve been blocked.

This person only texts so I guess they might get a notification to say not delivered

If you need to block them then I wouldn't worry if they know you have.
