Car parking in Buxton

Staying overnight mid week in Buxton and wondering about availability of street parking (hotel doesn't have car park).
Any local knowledge or advice please?

You can park for free after 6pm in the Pavilion Gardens car park

Most of the streets have on street parking. If it's the crescent look at long hill.

Thanks for replies. Yes it is the crescent, is Long Hill just an unrestricted residential street? We'll be arriving mid afternoon and leaving similar time following day and would prefer not to use or move car during stay.
Am toying with taking train as may be easier

We drove there about 18 months ago and parked at the station (pay via an app). Short walk into the town.
