French speakers…

When messaging my friend who is a native French speaker, they often sign off with bisous xxxx.
What is the British equivalent?! I know it means kisses, I assume because they kiss on the cheek as a greeting, but I’m unsure if ‘take care’ is a warm enough response? Thanks!

Almost like xoxo... or love ya!

It’s definitely warmer than ‘take care’

it’s much closer to ‘love xx’

Ah ok! I wouldn’t ever use either of those 🤣
Maybe I’ll have to start!

My friend is male if it makes any difference - I don’t want to be flirty or inappropriate 😳
