Anyone seen the Ghost Stories play?

Just want some advice really. I am going to see this with my son on Friday and have looked into what it’s like and it says it’s very scary and relies heavily on jump scares. I am notoriously wimpy and jump at the slightest thing!!! Is it really that bad or should I bail out?

I've seen it - there are jump scares and definitely a lot of tension (mainly as you know a jump scares has to be coming shortly).
But I wouldn't say it's overly scary, more it's the anticipation of a jump scare

I’ve seen it. As PP said it will make you jump. Otherwise it’s not that scary!

I hate horrors. Really built it up in my head and wasn't bad at all when I went! Build it up and you'll be fine!

Yes- front row 😬 it is scary in an edge of your seat sort of way- you know something eerie is about to happen- it’s jumpy and the final scene especially is really discombobulating. It certainly keeps you tense throughout!

I’d see it again though it was brilliant. You could always watch the film first as prep.

Thanks everyone. Think I’ll put on my big girl pants and go.
