I am 2 weeks post mirena fitting and over the last week have developed really sore inflamed gums and a strong metallic taste which is keeping me awake at night. I understand this can be a progesterone side effects but am wondering if anyone else has had this and if it subsided?
I am worried about permanent damage to my teeth if it doesn't improve soon having read horror stories like this and am unsure how long to give it to settle.
