Vinted Problems! Help!

I have been using Vinted since April this year, with minimal issues. However, this week I have three separate disputes, and Vinted simply aren’t responding or helping.

  1. I received a size 16 pair of jeans today. I had ordered a size 12 swimsuit, so quite a problem. I assumed the seller had made a simple mistake when posting, but no. She had no jeans for sale and says InPost must have messed up the labels when collecting at locker. This seems fairly credible. So what do I do? Vinted are just saying to return the jeans at my expense! Seller has also raised an issue. I now have a third parties jeans and can’t get a full refund.
  1. I received some trousers a month ago which had a hole in the crotch. Again, I had to pay the postage back as seller refused. Seller received the return three days ago but I still haven’t received my refund. Vinted don’t seem to have any answers. Keep saying I will receive refund two days after return received, but I didn’t.
  1. I ordered a skirt which had to be posted to me by yesterday. Seller hasn’t bothered. But I haven’t received a refund, despite raising it with both seller and with Vinted.

Apologies for 3 number 1s, MN formatting.

Anyway, am I Vinting all wrong? I don’t really want to give up as I have lost nearly five stone this year, and replacing my entire wardrobe, more than once really!!

If anyone has any good suggestions for how to resolve these problems I am all ears.

I'm having issues with Vinted too.
I didn't pick up a parcel from the postal locker in time (within 3 days) and it was returned to the seller.
Their "Help" pages clearly state that if this happens, you don't have to do anything and you are automatically refunded however they are now saying because I didn't report an issue within 2 days of delivery (I didn't have a problem in this timeframe) according to their separate T&C's they can't help, they won't refund me, and they have closed my complaint.
Seller says they don't have my money so who does...??
It's really put me off buying through them again.

Can’t help with your particular issues @cuddlebear, which sound really frustrating.
But I’ve had an issue this week. There was a screen error with the Inpost lockers which meant I couldn’t access my parcel. Reported to Inpost & Vinted. It got sent back because I didn’t collect it in time (when Inpost finally fixed it). Vinted’s ‘help / support’ has been diabolical. IMHO it’s actually misrepresentation to call it support, they’ve been so unhelpful and shite.

I wouldn’t mind, but I have paid out so much in customer fees this year, and the customer service really is dreadful.

I’ve had a few issues with the lockers and wrong items being delivered. It’s definitely only an inpost issue, more people are now picking evri or Royal Mail as delivery options.
For the last one you can click I’ve posted it and it gives you another 4 days to actually post it.

Yea their customer service is awful. Some moron posted my lamp stands and shades just shoved in a plastic rubbish bag..they arrived smashed to smithereens and still had to pay postage to get a refund as vinted wouldnt accept pics and the seller refused to cover the postage. Def won't buy anything even slightly expensive on there now

That’s really odd. I sold something breakable and it broke (I don’t think I added enough bubble wrap!) The buyer got a refund but I didn’t get the item back.

I only ever sell on Vinted. But I’ve had trouble with Evri lately. Still waiting for them to deliver something from 10th September. And then I had a week where all the inpost lockers were apparently full. That’s never happened as we have about 8 in the town and there’s always space available

I had a parcel left outside on the street and it inevitably got stolen. Had evidence of this. Vinted sent me 2 forms that I had to print off and return withing two days a 6pm on a Friday. I don't have a printer, so had to go to my Mums to print them. Sunday afternoon the sale completed. Contacted Vinted and they said, well you had 48 hours and you sent the forms back 49 hours later. Nowhere did it say 48 hours. It's clearly said 2 days (which could be 48 hours, but could also be any time on the Sunday. They refused a refund and I lost £30.i hate them and will never use them again. Arseholes.
