Question on Labubus

Hi all, my dd wants a Labubu/lafufu. I'm fairly new to this Labubu business but know that Lafufus are the fake ones. I want to buy dd one genuine Labubu if possible. From what I can see it's very difficult to lay your hands on genuine Labubus?! Anyone know where I can buy a genuine labubu ? I can see it being sold on B@Q website and sports direct- are these genuine you reckon? Don't really want to spend more than £55 -£60 on a Labubu given that it's going to be clipped onto her school bag and will get dirty pretty soon. Any advise will be much appreciated. Thank you x

Having just been through this, you need to enter the weekly draw via the Popmart website. You nominate a store to pick up from and then if you win you have to go in (with ID!) to store to pick it up the next week.

I didn’t win until the 3rd or 4th week, then won on all three draws they had that week so that is birthday and Christmas sorted!

I think they do have drops to store as well, but it isn’t guaranteed. When I was queuing to pick mine up one of the store workers came out to the queue to say that they didn’t have any that day.

My child also has asked for Labubu for Xmas. I bought them off TikTok resellers who had lots of positive reviews and the ones I have bought are genuine, although more expensive than the RRP. Look at PixelMediaHub or HypedEconomy shops on TikTok.

Thank you for all your replies! Much appreciated. My closest Pop Mart is about an hour half away on the train (i live in the outskirts of london). I don't want to get there and be told they haven't got any. I can't seem to find details of how I can join the draw? Only "notify me when available"? Is that the same thing please? Thanks

I currently have a lububu a&e in my kitchen. My GC's have loads and their heads keep falling off and these are the genuine ones. I've found a gorilla glue best for gluing them back on so in my opinion, they're a complete waste of money, but then what do I know?

Totally agree they are a total waste of money. Its the latest lunacy going isn't it and now my DD wants one (to start with I guess🙄)

They aren’t doing the raffles now and are back to selling them in stores. This is all versions and the limited edition special ones. Avoid resellers like the plague, they hike up prices and prevent genuine buyers from getting them at retail.

popmart on tiktok go live daily from 2-7pm and can be bought there but they drop them intermittently throughout their live. They have an official Amazon store and an official aliexpress store too where you can also buy them.
I have lots and know far too much about them and how to get them, my kids love them.

As a craze aren't they 'over' now? I would be careful about spending lots of money on them, or putting them away for Christmas in case your children don't want them any more by then.

My daughter went mad and bought about 10 fake ones from various dodgy sources. Then one day we saw trading standards officers confiscating them from all the city centre stalls. My daughter and her friends (Year six) aren't interested any more. I have seen them on Sports Direct website, but it seems mad to be still expecting them to sell for betweeen £40 and £80 when you could buy an extremely similar fake one for about £8.

@CheeseandGherkins that's interesting - I must have got mine in one of the last raffles! DD is Year 6 and still very much interested here and is a total snob about who has a Labubu v a Lafufu.

I actually quite liked the raffle once I got my head around it as all I had to do was remember to enter once a week and then go to store (which was no hassle for me). I can't be dealing with constantly having to check TikTok but the Amazon store sounds ideal!

Have they stopped the online raffles then? Like a PP I entered a few then won 2 together. It was for the little, new Pin for Love ones which are dinky. Picked them up from Oxford Street and the day we went in, on a Saturday afternoon a few weeks ago, they had loads of the Big into Energy ones for sale to anyone.

You can also buy them on the official pop mart store on Amazon. They usually have at least one labubu you can buy at non inflated prices. They have the coke labubu at the moment it’s either £24/£26. It’s direct from labubu.

Yes, I did. Quite a few actually. Went to Hamleys and they didnt have stock, but told me there'd be a drop in two days time. Luckily I was in London on that day and we got a few. Ive also got other versions of them on Popmart's own website. I asked to be notified when there's been a drop and kept checking emails and online. I've got a labubu have a seat one, coco cola one and a couple of Hacipupu's from Popmart. Ive also gotba hacipupu on.Amazon and its a genuine one. Make sure its dispatched by Amazon. I scanned the qr code on popmart scanner and its genuine product.

They are still the craze in my daughters class x

I got it from Amazon Popmart store and they have some for £18. They had the same one in stock in the entertainer for the same price. Some are available
