London restaurant recommendations

Hi, I'm looking for somewhere to have a big birthday celebration, with a large group. We are looking at between 25 to 35 people, and ideally want something around Covent Garden, London Bridge, Waterloo, Greenwich or Blackheath.

A private area would be nice, but its not a deal breaker. Not sure of what cuisine but no sharing plates. Ideally everyone orders off a set menu. Age ranges from 2 to 80. It will be a Saturday lunch affair. Nothing too chaotic or raucous!

Budget isn't great, so looking at £30 per person. I am sure its doable but I just can't find anything. The set menu is a must, because its transparent of how much everyone pays

Try Casa do Frango. They have a few restaurants in the areas you've suggested and they have an event section on their website. Portuguese food is the theme and I'm sure they can do a set menu of that is what you want or a family style for a set price.

Not exactly fine dining (but would you want that with a 2 year old?) but Strada Southbank might work in terms of location and they have a set menu for groups that looks to be in your price range.

Thabks all. I like the look of the Portuguese place, and thr private room is ideal. Strata is a good suggestion but probably not special enough. Thanks though!
