Are they good at keeping tea/coffee/soup hot? How long would they stay hot for?

Never used mine for hot but its amazing at keeping cold water cold for days.

Tea or coffee is OK after 12 hours, and not bad after 16-20. Preheat the flask and fill up to fill line. Open as little as possible. Maybe carry the milk separately? Mine are a few years old - the lids get water in between the plastic inner and metal outer if immersed. Try not to drop them and get dents.

Would you say they are worth the extra money in terms of it keeps tea/coffee warmer for longer than a more affordable flask in your experience?

Yes, I would. Though I think there may others on the market now, but I'm not up to date.

I am not sure if mine was faulty but it gave off a really metallic taste in my coffee.
