Hi all,

I sent sent an application form to the wrong email. One letter left out and turns out it could be a scam email.

I registered to CIFAS. Worrried about anyone using my details.

will my current bank accounts be okay?

has anyone used this service before? Or using it?

What have you registered with cifas?

@Kelvina I registered for the protective registeration as I accidently sent an application form to the wrong email :/ and worried about cards being taken out of my name

If it’s gone to CIFA (org for archaeologists) then they’ll likely either simply delete or message you to advise that you’ve sent it to the wrong organisation

If there is a protective registration this shouldn't be possible as they will reach out to you to confirm identity before proceeding with any applications. You could also add a credit lock to your experian report as another form of protection.
