What do you do with odd socks and earrings?

Socks: Do you hang on to them in the hope of locating their partners?
How long do you wait?
Do you ruthlessly chuck em out?

Earrings: Do you wear odd ones together? Do you turn them into other things?

What other odd things do you have around the house?

I use socks for dusting especially the fiddly bits in radiators and then bin! Earrings I’d probably wear as I’ve have uneven piercings ie 4 on one lobe and 3 on the other.

Don’t wear earrings.
i don’t pair up socks - I just wear the first two I pick out of the drawer.

I've got a memory notice board which I made using odd single earrings. Basically covered a large canvas with fabric, wrapped elastic round it and secured it in place where it overlapped with post earrings. Tehn if I want to keep a card or something I slip it under the elastic. You can glue an odd earring to accessories like hair bows or use them to embellish bags like you do with pin badges etc.
