Partial Empty Your Bladder?

Can you partially empty your bladder? I definitely can't. It has to be the full thing every time.

I know that vaginal oestrogen calmed down the constant mini pees I was having.. normally that’s uti symptoms , but I had no uti..

Ha ha no, when I went for my first scan with ds I got sent to the toilet to “let about half out”
it was a real WTF?? Confused Moment and no I couldn’t do that at all…I envy people who can.

No I couldn’t, and I have quite a “good” bladder 😄

Much to my amazement I did manage to pee exactly 250ml on request whilst having pelvic radiotherapy - I was not at all hopeful of doing it and not sure I could ever repeat it (luckily I've never had to)

As I've got older I cannot empty my bladder in one go. (Or rarely anyway). I pee as normal, then sit for a short time (maybe around 30 seconds, I don't time it) and then wee again. Sometimes even that isn't enough and I have to sit again before I can finish. It's never just a few drops either. If I leave the loo after the first void, I often need to return to the loo after a few minutes. I'm 70 and it's only started happening in the last 10 years or so.
