Best way to get rid of sticky residue?

We used to have temporary blackout blinds attached to our window frames by Velcro. Have just taken the Velcro off and it has left a nasty sticky residue and marks.

What’s the best way to get rid of this? Thanks!

You could try acetone free nail varnish remover. Make sure it is acetone free or it will damage the plastic.
You can also get Sticky off adhesive remover, some Tesco stores sell it

Rubbing alcohol is supposed to work
You could also try dishwashing liquid, hot water & a cloth (& elbow grease!)

An eraser works but careful not to rub off the surface or nail varnish remover

WD40
Window cleaner
Glasses cleaner

white spirt
methylated spirit
nail varnish remover
(but check a small part first)
I use cotton wool as the cloth for small areas

Thanks. Loads of ideas! I have some Sticky Stuff remover which is ok but it’s quite old, so I think I’ll buy Label Remover too. Nail polish remover is a shout too. Will give it a go.
