Small thoughtful gifts DD 18th

DD turns 18 next week. We are going away later in the year as her main gift but I want to be able to give her something thoughtful to open on her actual birthday.

Maybe ideas up to about £50? Don’t have a huge amount of time to order so will need to be quick

Something related to the trip?

What about giving her the money so she can choose something connected to the arranged holiday?

She will be getting money from other relatives and really wanted to be able to give her a token to mark a special birthday.

Have a browse at the roses at your local garden centres. You can often get them with lovely names - you could get something to suit her personality or with a sweet sentiment: "Millie Rose", "Special Daughter", "Princess Rose" etc.

What about jewellery as that is something she would keep.?

Thisismyalterego · 01/10/2025 10:28

An item of jewellery that she can keep. I still have earrings and necklaces I was given on my 18th, include a beautiful set my then boyfriend gave me which I wore on our wedding day a few years later. I am now in my mid sixties.

Jewellery sounds about right, a bracelet or earrings, maybe a pretty ring.
