Calling MN Doctors! Blood test result

Can someone more informed than me help me understand whether this is a positive or negative result for intrinsic factor antibodies? GP hasn't provided any extra info along with it, just this on the NHS app. I was under the impression (purely from Google so I may be entirely wrong!) that any presence of IF antibodies was indicative of pernicious anemia but this seems to suggest a normal range? Can anybody advise?

Symptom wise, I tick a lot of PA boxes and there is family history, but total B12 levels were normal and GP has seemed reluctant to look any further, it was a battle to get them to even request this test.

(Edited to add while image is under review: result is 1 kU/L)

This is so spooky - I have been googling intrinsic factor results for the last half an hour, and then I saw your thread!

My daughter also has a lot of symptoms that point towards PA. She had a test for intrinsic factor and I’m waiting to speak to a doctor about it.

Having googled this a lot it looks like the ranges are specific to each laboratory that does the testing. This means there aren’t generally ranges where you can say a specific number means something.

Which doesn’t help much when you’re trying to interpret your own results…

Also, it’s worth looking at your B12 results and the NICE guidelines. Generally the ranges that doctors consider acceptable are much lower that NICE considers optimal.

So while a GP may say your results are ‘ok’, they could still be at a level that causes symptoms.
