10 year old with headaches

I have a ten year old daughter who has always (touch wood) been very healthy and we have never really had a reason (apart from an earache once) to visit the GP. Due to a traumatic incident she witnessed as a three year old she has developed a huge phobia of visiting the doctor, and because she hasn’t really ever needed to go the phobia has got worse and worse, Over the last few months she has started to get the odd headache which have started to develop more frequently, especially the last week. They seem to be triggered by fluorescent lighting, car lights when it’s dark and even watching a film the other night with some flashing lights. She has just come home from a club and gone straight to bed feeling headachey and light headed. I will be calling the GP in the morning despite the fact I will have to probably drag her there kicking and screaming, but does this sound like migraines? Just after some advice if anyone has been through similar. Thank you.

Probably worth getting an eye test as well if the triggers are visual. Hope it all goes well.

Thank you, will get her booked in with an optician, good idea.

My DD used to get ice pick headaches beofre her period, they would come on very suddenly and be so painful for her.
