Massive bruise after scratching

at work today I had a really itchy leg. So I gave it a good scratch and it was fine. Have noticed tonight I now have a massive bruise. What could this be?!

Oh OP that happens to me all the damn time. I scratch, I’m very pale and bruise easily et voila, I look like I’ve gone 10 rounds with Conor McGregor. So annoying. Fake tan makes it not quite so obvious

Try getting some more vitamin K into your diet.
Dark leafy greens, light broccoli, spinach, kale, cabbage.
Also meat and eggs.

You could also possibly be lacking vitamin C which is really easy to get some food and tablets.
You could also bruise easily and a lot if you're on certain medications, or have an underlying health condition such as a problem with your liver.
If it really bothers you , you should talk to your GP.
My DD used to bruise like that too, even a small bump would always cause a big bruise.
She doesn't have that so much anymore because she's been really careful about getting the right nutrients in her diet.
