Old threads that you lost track of? Anyone remember these?
Mother whose son was lured away by an older woman (teen son, 20s woman). He left school and started college. The last bit I read was that the son occasionally came home to see the mum but that she had started to accept his absence.
Woman married to a man with two older daughters. She had a daughter with him. The daughters had never bought her a xmas or birthday present despite her facilitating all of their gifts. Her husband also paid for the ex wife's house AND was leaving his new wife nothing in his will. She went away on holiday for xmas to her family and had no intention of returning to him.
Woman whose ex partner's adult son continued to live with her in a house she was paying for, but which was co-owned by her ex. The son paid nothing and treated her like shit. Last I read was that she had managed to get him out (temporarily?) by taking it to court.
40 something year old woman. Pregnant unexpectedly by her 60ish partner. He didn't want the baby and was more concerned about the effect on his daughter, who the OP had originally been friends with.
REALLY old one now. An abused woman and her DC (son?) were leaving DV without the violent DH knowing. Last I read, she got away and was driving to the refuge.
Does anyone remember these and have any updates?
The last one in particular is from years ago and I periodically thing of her. All of them really though. HOW do we get so invested with people who are just random internet strangers?!
