It's time - I've officially gotten under the heated throw.

Anyone else?

Bought it last night after shivering under two blankets in bed and oh, what a change!

Mind you I still refuse to put the heating itself on just yet.

Yes! Plus a hot water bottle at night as our bedroom is freezing.

Shinybrightdarling · 28/09/2025 19:38

I’ve washed my heated blankets this weekend as they got dusty in the cupboard. They’re ready … gonna start using them in the next few days I reckon.

Autumn1990 · 28/09/2025 19:40

We’re using our hot water bottles. It’s too warm yet for the heating but still a little cold

Shedmistress · 28/09/2025 19:41

Ive done too much in the garden today and am a little achey, tired and shivery...so I'm planning on getting mine out of the cupboard in about 30 mins and putting it on ready for when I get out of a hot bath.

I haven't got a heated throw, I almost bought one last year, maybe this needs to be the year!

We've had the heating on a couple of times and had the log burner on last night for DS who is currently ill.

I've just run a bath, lit some candles and am about to read the October addition of 'the simple things' magazine, so feeling very cosy and autumnal.

IthinkIamAnAlien · 28/09/2025 19:45

Got mine out last night too, already had a water bottle for a couple of nights.

RealPerson · 28/09/2025 19:48

I like a cold bed, I had the window open last night

Oh absolutely I recommend buying one!

It's 20 degrees in our lounge right now and DH is in a t shirt, no heating on. S England.

DuckWithOneWing · 28/09/2025 20:43

I love my heated throw!

Sonolanona · 28/09/2025 21:47

I'm currently under a thick throw with a hot water bottle . I'm saving the heated throw for really really cold evenings!

SixSeven · 28/09/2025 21:51

I’ve ordered a new one as I got mine out and it won’t switch on.

Dreamland (sold in John Lewis) have a sale on their website so I paid £50 reduced from £130 and I can’t wait until it arrives!

Jsokev · 28/09/2025 21:52

Yes, dug mine out today, along with my lumie alarm clock as I realised it's going to be dark when I need to wake up tomorrow 😞, ugh

Jsokev · 28/09/2025 21:53

Not that my heated throw has anything to do with getting up tomorrow 😅

Mintearo7 · 28/09/2025 21:54

Love my heated throw when working from home. Whipped it out last week!

Sunshineandgrapefruit · 28/09/2025 21:56

Got the big duvet out

JurassicPark4Eva · 28/09/2025 21:56

I've been wrapped in mine for work all week, but I'm on Mounjaro and chilled to the bone most of the time. Last winter was painful, looks like I'm in for another round of the same 😂❄️❄️❄️❄️

gamerchick · 28/09/2025 21:57

No, it's 22° in here. I'm in summer jammie shorts and top.
