Do you find it unreasonable if people smoke inside in front of non smokers?

Went to a friends engagement dinner last weekend, small gathering of close friends. Friend who owns the house does not smoke, half of the party were smokers. They asked if they should go outside to smoke and she said no it’s ok to smoke inside. Maybe it’s just me but it has been years since I have been somewhere where people are openly smoking indoors especially when people who are non smokers are there.

what do you think of this?

It wouldn't bother me in the slightest.

I would have left the moment they lit up. My lungs are not in a good enough condition for cigarette smoke.

I’d hate it. I would excuse myself The smell is disgusting I grew up as a passive smoker in the 80s/90: which made me have constant chest infections ( Never had one once i left the chain smoking home).I hate it on my clothes and breathing it in.

I come from a smoking family even the younger generations. But it was the cause of my grandmothers death and also her daughters ( my mum) far too early. So have very good reasons to hate it!

Saying that it’s up to the person whose house it is though i’m surprised a non smoker was so relaxed about it in their home considering how it lingers.
