Asda online groceries issues

I have been trying to order my groceries for my usual Saturday delivery since Tuesday evening. I have a slot, have no problem getting a slot, my basket is full but my slot keeps expiring because I can’t check out!

I’ve cleared history, deleted and re entered card details, tried 4 different cards -both debit and credit cards-but it constantly comes up either ‘sorry we can’t take payment’ or ‘something went wrong’.

What on Earth is going on? Has anyone else managed to order?

Sorry, can’t help but just wondered if you were able to sort the problem out? Are you using the app? Try using the website instead? Or the other way around?

The website updated around 2 months ago and I had the exact same issues. No matter what I tried I couldn't check out. Tried the app..exact same problem. Repeatedly called them to get help..complete waste of time. Constantly told me to just sign out and sign in. Remove my bank card details and put them back in.

They eventually told me they were experiencing "technical issues" since the update. Lost the will by that point. I eventually told them to close my account. The upside is I'm only going instore once a month to get the things I can't get elsewhere. Saved so much money as a result.

Had exactly the same issues as @ringsnthings. Customer service is appalling.
Gave up, cancelled pass and asked for a refund.

I knew others had suffered issues since the update, but I had been fine until now. I’ve tried everything. I’ve done it on the app and desktop and nothing works. So frustrating as I work long shifts, I don’t want to physically go to a store, and the only other supermarket I can get to deliver in my area is Morrisons, and they were awful quality wise.
