When should I be concerned over no RSVPs?

When to be concerned about no RSVPs? I am having a class party for my sons 6th birthday. I had booked a soft play for a certain number of kids (around 25) so handed out invitations to the class a month in advance and kept a few back for my sons other friends outside of school. Due to the cost I really need the numbers to show up and my son will be crushed if they don't anyway.

So far all of the kids from outside of my sons school have confirmed they are coming which is about 5, and only 2 parents from school have RSVP’d. It’s been almost 2 weeks now since I have given them out. I handed them personally to the parents with my number on.

I’m not very chatty or close to the parents at the gate as I have to rush home for work after drop off and pick ups but my son is well behaved kid and seems to be well liked by the other children who were very excited to come. I don’t have any of the parent’s numbers so not really sure what to do. Only a few of the mums chat at the gate and as far as I am aware there’s no group chat (or if there is I haven’t been invited to it) so I’m not quite sure when to be concerned really.

When did you specify to rsvp by?

Had the rsvp date expired yet? People will wait until the last minute

When did you specify to rsvp by?

I didn't put one foolishly as I completely forgot, just put RSVP: and my number.

I assume there isn’t a class WhatsApp group?

I think the only way you can resolve is by asking DS to ask his friends to ask their parents to RSVP (acknowledging there will be varying success)

Even if you’re not close with any of the mums, surely you could ask them next time you’re at the school?
