is it on me to find it or them to get it to me?

For some reason after living in my house with no problem for over nine years, over the last six months ALL my mail/parcels/deliveries and even take aways are being sent to a different address that is a ten minute walk away from where I live.

Checked everywhere I order online such as ebay and my address is correct. so if I make up my street name and say I live at 92 Blue Road, Everything is going to 92 Blue Street. different street name and postcode.

i walk to there to pick up the parcels and they never answer the door, I have put a note through saying please stop accepting my parcels and they are still taking them in so not sure what I'm supposed to do.

Latest issue is I had an email yesterday saying an apple watch I ordered from ebay (birthday present for my mum) saying delivered, I checked the tracking and this time it's gone to a completely different house 29 Blue close (instead of my 92 it's now 29!) I looked on maps and even maps couldn't find it, just zoomed in on an empty field, I spent almost two hours yesterday trying to find this house and couldn't.

I then got home to a thing through my door from royal mail saying it's at a different house to what the tracking said it was at and now has a different door than the tracking showed yesterday so I'm now seriously confused where it even is.

Any idea what I can do about this? talking to delivery drivers or posties about it does nothing as they are always a different person each time.

ebay seller says it's on me to sort this out, i get that but i just want to order things online like everyone else does and not have to spend two hours trying to track down wherever my parcel has been dropped off that day.

I work from home and never tick 'leave with a neighbour or leave in safe space' so not sure why this is even happening in the first place.

Is it on royal mail to find my parcel and deliver it to my house or is it on me to spend hours looking for a house that doesn't seem to exist on maps or in person?

Responsibility is with the carrier to deliver correctly.

For future deliveries is it worth changing your delivery address to

92 Blue Road
NB - NOT BLUE STREET!
Town
Postcode

Is this just Royal Mail it's happening with, or are couriers doing it too?

In the first instance I'd contact Royal Mail customer services/complaints (not an individual Mail person) to explain the situation and ask what the will do to ensure your mail is delivered properly.

Strictly speaking, especially with Royal Mail, it is the sender who should chase up lost post with the carrier. I would also check with Royal Mail that you are using their "official" address for your house. It's surprising how many people don't.
