. The supermarket I worked for had to close due to flooding. A few staff stayed by moving stuff away from the flooded area (it was only a couple of aisles that were affected). Man saw lights on and banged on the door demanding that he wants some milk. There are other shops that sell milk.
. Customers that picked up stuff in the reduced section in chiller and asked if vegetarian. Things i remember included meat feast pizza, chicken jalfrezi ready meal, gammon steaks and breaded fish!
Also witnessed this. I was visiting a town and a chain fast food place had fire engines outside attending to a fire. Idiots were trying to enter the place!
