Are there any stats about the percentage of immigrants claiming benefits v British born people?

I keep hearing (sadly from friends and colleagues) about how all these immigrants come for our soft benefits system, but IME of working in schools in London boroughs most immigrant communities are incredibly hard working. Much more so that my British born friends and aquaintances (or me).

Based on my "feelings" alone, I really doubt that anyone's long term plan coming here is to live on benefits, although accept many will need some support in getting set up initially.

Are there any stats about this?

Do you just mean asylum seekers/refugees once they have been given permission to remain, those that come for economic purposes or all immigrants? Then there's international students who may be here temporarily but not working.
