Moved into new house and hate my bathroom. I have a budget off £1000 and want to I’ve it a wee makeover but I have no vision.

my bedroom is a light green and I was thinking a darker green paint, keep the tiles and then I want millions of plants so
its like a jungle 😂 any thoughts lovely mumsnetters and hide the boiler somehow

I like the revamped photo! I think it’s very important that all the plants end up in matching pots to avoid feeling very cluttered.

You can’t really keep a cheese plant in the shower though. And in your revamp you have removed all storage - is that practical?

The dark green paint idea looks amazing, I would start with that then experiment with storage and plants until you are happy. New white towels always look the bees knees, over time old white towels you think look good don’t look great compared to brand new ones!

I think dark green with loads of plants would look amazing!

I also would get some sort of cupboard to hide the boiler.

Love the green
White for other aspects (skirting boards etc plus towels) look fresh
re the boiler, it’s white so imo it blends in ok. A local carpenter would probably be able to box it in - possibly in a full length cupboard with shelves underneath for storage.
re storage we have minimised this in our bathroom. Partly as I prefer not to store loads of towels, loo rolls etc in the damp ish environment. Obviously we have a few spares in there but main stocks are sorted elsewhere.

Thinking of something like this for the sink and new shower screen maybe.
