Is the Traitors worth watching?

I haven’t watched it but it does seem popular and there is a celebrity one starting this week. Without any spoilers, what’s it about?

i don’t watch much TV but I did watch the traitors this year to see what it was all about. It’s a game, like a cross between Big Brother and Cleudo, where participants are “locked away” in a castle and, unidentified to most, a few are the “traitors” (murderers) and every night someone gets taken out. The game is to work out who the traitors are eithout getting “murdered”. there are also various team challenges which affect behaviours.

of course it’s hammed up and edited for effect but it’s really interesting seeing how the inter personal relations go…

I don’t really enjoy reality stuff normally, but I did enjoy Traitors. I liked series 1 the most. Watch a couple of episodes and see if you get hooked!

Yes. Stick with it for the first few where the reasons for voting others out are just really weird… and then be hooked! First series is the best!

Yes! It’s wink murder basically but they cast it and strategise it so well it’s so much fun, proper yelling at the telly level.

Yes - not the celeb one though. Real people much better. New Zeland is the best.

It’s a not like GBBO — the formula just gets boring after a while, but if you’ve never watched it before, it can be quite fun, if you persevere past the first couple of episodes where (again like GBBO), there are too many contestants and you don’t really ‘know’ anyone.

The first Irish series is close to its end at the moment, and has been riveting, despite having a production budget of about €100.

Thanks. I might give it a try on Wednesday.
