It's September and I have just watched a Christmas film

Feeling sorry for myself today. Curled up on the sofa as suffering from a heavy cold.
Everyone is out. Put Netflix on and it was the first one advertised.
'A Castle for Christmas ' with Brooke Shields.
Now I want to go to Scotland.

It’s ok we won’t hold it against you as you have a cold 😉

Dozymoo42 · 20/09/2025 17:11

I always watch Christmas films especially when I am poorly I find them so comforting so no judgement here 🥰

CrushingOnRubies · 20/09/2025 17:13

castle for Christmas is one of the better crappy Netflix Christmas movies. Hope you feel better soon.

It's pouring down and blowing a gale here and im really tempted to batten down the hatches with a bottle of wine and watch that 😊 Love a Christmas film

If it makes you feel any better I have been looking at Christmas jumpers whilst procrastinating about something else - and I don't even like Christmas!

Hope you feel better soon 💐

Ditto, it feels like November here - which is the perfect time to watch Christmas films!

mumofoneAloneandwell · 20/09/2025 17:19

I watched Noelle last week

Thinking of The Santa Claus today 🥰🎄

I'm sat in a caravan in the cold and rain, spotted mince pies in Morrisons - so now I have the heating on with a brew and a mince pie ! ..... just roll with it OP !

We accidentally watched a Christmas panto this week. DS has read Hansel and Gretel recently at school, and I remembered there is a CBeebies version on iplayer so thought he’d enjoy it. The second song in, I realised it’s a Christmas panto 😅but we had a very jolly time singing along and it did put me in the Christmas mood! Hope you feel better soon OP.

Sounds like you needed it! Hope you get better soon
