Fancy Dress Prank help please

My partner leaves his job in two weeks and he is an absolute joker and known for it so we want to get him back. He’s always up for a laugh so he wouldn’t be offended or pissed off. He would find this funny.

so we want to think of a fancy dress but only tell him - however it means that I need to dress up as well but I have to look quite normal. Otherwise it ruins the joke if that makes sense!

can anyone think of anything!?

Depends on your normal dress sense really but something accessory heavy would work because you could ditch when you get there… I did go to a party where the theme was starts with the letter A (in honour of the birthday girl’s name) and someone did Amy Winehouse which was just an LBD with ballet pumps and a wig, you could do something like that and just say you’ll put the wig on when you get there then obviously don’t. Breakfast at tiffanys, a black cat… they could also allow you wear a black dress and then take accessories to make it look like it’s a costume but without them you’d look normal… If it’s more casual then jeans, a top and a cowboy hat = cowgirl and then you ditch the hat.

Good plan! Someone has suggested men go as women and women go as men so he has to turn up in a dress but I could just wear jeans and trainers which is my uniform anyway 😂
