I totally thought he was from the USA for some reason, he seems to have sprung from nowhere, how did I miss this?

All the over 50s women losing themselves over him on Facebook is hilarious!

He certainly seems to have an amazing stage presence.

What's with the name though? It's terrible 🤦🏻‍♀️

Me too@womananddog- also going to the O2
I also have concerns about how hard he is pushing himself. He is currently sick and has had to postpone a gig. He is certainly living it up though

I have had the same thought, he never seems to stop working and I hope it doesn't make him ill. No impure thoughts here (Robert Redford in his heyday was more my type) but I love his music and he seems like a total sweetheart who is very good to his fans.

Dullmary · 20/09/2025 13:14

I love him. Also have tickets to see him next year. My best friend and I (both early 50s) have massive granny crushes on him.

I don't understand his appeal to straight women. Personally I don't find men who use lip fillers attractive. :/

I don't think he does. He's always looked like that. I can say the music appeals to me but I saw him (on TV) at Glastonbury a few years ago and loved his energy. I also saw a documentary about him and he did seem quite sweet.

Mochudubh · 20/09/2025 13:26

Posted on wrong thread.

cocobelon · 20/09/2025 13:44

The pouting drives me mad.
He was in a relationship with Halsey a few years ago too

Huntrix · 20/09/2025 13:48

I love Yungblud. He just seems like such a nice bloke. Very respectful and looks after his fans. I saw a clip where a man was being inappropriate towards a fan and he called him a shit man and got him removed. 😁Great music too obviously.

FetchezLaVache · 20/09/2025 13:50

I had the pleasure of meeting him at a friend's party quite recently (I had no idea who he was, he came with his parents who are my friend's neighbours). He was absolutely lovely. He arrived, was offered a drink and asked for "an orange juice, please, if that's not too much trouble".

GiantYorkshirePud · 20/09/2025 13:56

Love him! Love his style and loved his hair when it was black and red. Knowing he grew up near me made me like him even more 😆 I’m in my 30s and he makes me feel like a teenager back in my emo era.

cathyandclaire · 20/09/2025 14:20

Pretty sure his mouth has always been like that ( see pic below). He used to be a musical theatre kid back in the day. He always had star quality and a decent voice - we’re from Yorkshire, so I saw him in a few things and he stood out.

He was Riff in West Side Story for NYMT ( this is him on the poster) when he was 15-16 with lots of other kids who went on to do well in musicals/TV, but not as well-known as him.

Yorkie Lad
Come across as really sweet in interviews and my friends DD is a big fan and has meet him a couple of times, says he is really nice IRL too
Seems to really engage with his fans

padso · 20/09/2025 14:37

Not sure how anyone finds him attractive tbh.

Gatekeeper · 20/09/2025 14:38

Nah, needs a wash and his breeks pulling up

coxesorangepippin · 20/09/2025 14:39

Yorkshire lad an all

Fairyfae · 20/09/2025 14:45

I love him. Im 48 . I love his music and hes just a lovely person who does a lot for mental health and im a huge huge Ozzy fan so I love that he was friends with him too.
I hope he continues to go far.

I saw previous photos of him where he does have thinner lips, and I don't think it's just pouting either.

Cavalierchaos · 20/09/2025 14:59

I'm not into music at all but I know who he is because he kept appearing on TV on Sunday Brunch and other morning shows. Honestly? He tries waaaaay too hard to portray a certain image and the way he speaks makes me cringe.

To all the people saying he's so lovely - how on Earth would you know? Unless you actually know him personally and sees how he treats everyone in his life, you would have no idea.

SirRaymondClench · 20/09/2025 15:05

Up until two years ago he lived on the same road as me (four houses down) and I used to see him all the time. 😁 His parents live very near to me.

purpleme12 · 20/09/2025 15:12

I only know him cos of the Louis The roux episode

But I'm woefully not up to date with music.

DisappearingGirl · 20/09/2025 15:12

The Louis Theroux documentary was interesting. I got the impression - and I may be talking rubbish - that he's genuine, but in a "my truth" kind of way. Almost like he's desperate to understand himself so he looks for the trauma to fit that. I wasn't convinced his childhood was as bad as he makes out, but I also didn't get the impression he was lying, more that he was making the facts match his feelings rather than the other way around. A bit like a teenager does.

Louis said something about him being more like a priest/messiah to his fans than just a singer, and Dom agreed. He almost seemed to be feeding off his fans' vulnerabilities and problems, but not in a calculated way. More like he loved that connection and being a sort of saviour/sympathiser. I think he also said he has ADHD and struggles to sleep. Definitely loads of stage presence.

An interesting character and I'm still not sure what to make of him!

bruffin · 20/09/2025 15:18

My DS 30 has been a fan for years and has gone as him for fancy dress parties.

I go to a filming of a tv show every year (very relaxed not sitting watching type thing) cant say which one as not gone out yet, but this year was Yungblud and he was lovely.

Edited to say I can say has it's been announced. It was Portrait Artist of the Year, he had to sit still for a long time, which he obviously found difficult.

I'm with you a bit there.
I think he's is incredibly talented and like some of music but some of the way he acts and talks, like the constant swearing, seems a little try hard and makes me cringe. He was amazing at the Ozzy concert though.

Namechange2700000 · 20/09/2025 15:41

Love him!

He has the most beautiful face and comes across as a really lovely man.

TeddyOatmeal · 20/09/2025 15:55

He was on Celebrity Gogglebox and seemed very normal and down to earth.

Sunshine99999 · 20/09/2025 16:07

I thought he was an American rapper until he started popping up on reels. Not a massive fan of the music other than Zombie but I do have a soft spot for him.

Whateverwillwedonow · 20/09/2025 16:18

I had to google him. He looks like Fairuza Balk.
