For example , through specific posts on SM and on other platforms - not just on this site - may be interpreted and seen this way.
Yes I understand that's what some people do but that's the point. Woke is misused in those cases. Woke shouldn't be co-opted and attributed to something people see as wrong.
For example: In the right context of woke, are feminists "woke" when talking about women's rights and misogyny? Yes. Is that a bad thing then? No.
Are people being "woke" when pointing out racism? Yes. Is that a bad thing? No.
Are people being woke when calling out classism, ageism, ableism, etc? Yes.
So why use "woke" to imply negative opinions when it's supposed to be an empowering stance? It makes one out to be trying to shut down and strip marginalised groups of their opinions and right to be aware of and call out issues.
I believe it's not your intention, as you've said, and it's fair to disagree with opinions but that's what it conveys when using "woke" to do so.
