KFC- what do you recommend?

At the grand age of 41, I’ve never had a KFC before.

So if I was to get one, what would you recommend?

Following as been years since last order but the Bargain Bucket was always a favourite growing up. It's a bit of everything .

It used to be much better. I guess the zinger tower has a certain charm. Their chips are rubbish.

Walk past it,if it's like our local one dirty facilities,dirty , sticky tables.i always think of that's what front of house is like what's behind the scenes like.

It's shit now, do you have a Popeyes near you?

Nothing. DH got campylobacter from KFC, decades ago. Never eaten there since!

Love a zinger burger, my guilty indulgence. Agree it’s not what it was. We live a slim chickens now.

personally i like corn on the cob

What ever you choose, have it with the gravy.

Has to involve the gravy. It’s filth but if you’re doing it, do it properly

Not been for years but I did used to love a Twister meal (chicken wrap). Never tried anything else as hate burgers or meat on the bone. The idea of buckets has always repulsed me but each to their own!

Trilogy Box meal: Zinger burger, hot wing and mini popcorn chicken with gravy side. I quite like the chips now, they changed the recipe a couple of years ago.

As others have said, it’s pretty shit now with rubbish chips that are always cold.
If you still decide to have it, try a Mighty bucket and additional gravy (to mask the crap chips). It has 2 pieces of chicken, 2 hot wings, a chicken fillet strip and chips

I was you a few years ago. Went for a KFC with my niece, can't remember what I had but it was absolutely disgusting. Never been back.

Boneless banquet

Don't bother. It's actually inedible (and I never leave food).

I love a 3 piece meal with biscuits & gravy but I'm sworn off my local KFC after I sat in the drive thru line for 25 mins only to be told they had no bloody chicken!. Popeye's or Mary Brown's now.

I agree Popeye's is better, but if you don't have one near I don't mind a KfC. I get a boneless banquet box with the gravy (which is like crack!). Get a krushem if you really want to pig out!
